External Hard Drive Recovery

I found this interesting blog post about hard drive recovery turn around. If you’ve ever been in this situation the ideas and tips in this posting are great and will make you happier that you followed the same outline to Hard Drive problems..

For you personally, to the exact condition that your computer is in now (with a new Hard disk)
I personally have a week-old backup of my hard drive so I would only lose a week’s worth of information (much of that is saved online) and some of it could not be recovered (but is of low importance). Restoring my Hard Drive would take a couple of hours (including putting in a new drive) but those lost files would never be restored.
